Certified Credit Professional-Islamic (CCP-i) is a specialist certification designed for those who will be undertaking credit related activities for Islamic banking operations. The aim of CCP-i is to assess skills and competency of candidates in structuring and packaging credit proposals using various Islamic banking products. The program is targeted for personnel working in Islamic banking institutions and those assigned to Islamic banking windows in conventional banks.

Objectives:

• To provide fundamental knowledge and understanding of Shariah concept and its application in financing products.
• To assess skills and competency of candidates in structuring and packaging credit proposal using various Islamic banking products.
• To produce qualified credit personnel in Islamic finance.

CCP-i covers the following:

• Principles and philosophy of Islamic financial systems;
• Application of Shariah contracts in structuring products and services
• Shariah issues and Shariah compliance audit for financing products;
• Types of contracts, products and documentation applicable in Islamic finance operations; and
• Approaches to rescheduling and restructuring of Islamic financing products.
